Mission: The foundation 4 orphans mission is to lift communities by serving orphans. We work through the united methodist church in partnership with local governmental officials and church leaders in mozambique, and students, professors and administrators in iraq. We are about to expand to the democratic republic of the congo. In mozambique, we construct orphanages in locations the government and church has selected. This will be the same model we use in the democratic republic of the congo. In iraq, we have established a mentor program between university students and orphans.
Programs: In 2016 we began construction of an orphanage in dondo, mozambique. Total cost of this orphanage will be $110,000. It will be the new home for 48 children. We send $20,000 each time and when we are presented with evidence that those funds have been used for the purposes defined in the grant, we send an additional $20,000. To date we have sent a total of $80,000.
