Causes: Children & Youth, Foster Care
Mission: Foster promise's purpose is to provide assistance and support to children and families in the foster care system in washington state. To achieve this purpose, foster promise pursues the following activities: 1) educating the general public about the needs for and benefits of foster care; 2) providing education programs and resources to foster parents, kinship care providers and workers in the foster care system, and 3) providing assistance in the form of grants to government agencies and 501(c)(3) organizations that participate in the foster care system.
