This includes supporting: local conferences, community events, local celebrations, city block projects, national and state conventions and shows, public relations and promotional activity of the city, national media exposure, publications about the city, purchase of gifts and momentos given to dignataries, visitors of the city, etc. . .
steer fort worth - the mayor's young leaders initiative that is aimed at engaging young adults in learning about and becoming involved in civic matters. The program allows the participants to brainstorm ideas for how to make fort worth better, prioritize the ideas, and then to form task forces that work on special programs to impact one or more of the identified priorities. Young adults are allowed to participate in the program free of charge.
