Causes: Arts & Culture, Cultural & Ethnic Awareness
Mission: The fort apache heritage foundation is committed to facilitating the culture and heritage preservation and perpetuation activities of the white mountain apache tribe by providing financial and techincal assistance to the tribe's heritage programs; supporting the restoration and revitalizaiton of the fort apache historic district; promoting public interest in white mountain apache historic preservation and cultural perpetuation programs; and developing and providing educational programs and technical training in historic and cultural heritage preservation, maintenance, and revitalization.
Programs: Stabilization, preservation, and rehabilitation of the fort apache/theodore roosevelt school national historic landmark property. The foundation also contributed to the installation of interpretive exhibitions on the fort apache property.
