Cathy from forgotten angels is an incredible advocate for stray and abandoned cats. The place that I work had cats that were not spayed and not neutered and continually having kittens. Cathy worked hard to help me to catch the cats and got them spayed and neutered and shots free of charge. She even found homes for some of the kittens. I am so thankful that there are people out here in at antelope valley that care about cats. Forgotten Angels are a great organization and I hope they will be able to continue their service for years to come.
Please rely and donate to a legit cat rescue! these people are only interested in making money off the cats they can adopt out. They get a lot of cats for free and the amount they get for each one(through adoption) does add up and it does make a nice profit. When a cat or a litter of kittens truly need rescuing and medical treatment with socializing to be ready for adoption forgotten angels forgets the angels and will not return phone calls , will NOT help with treatment or socializing the cats. They leave it all up to you and it will be YOUR financial burden. Mom cat was trapped and I was told I could get her in to be spayed, her shots, and released to me for FREE...all I had to do was make an appointment. for that week. then I was told I had to keep the cat looked in my bathroom for a month cause that was the time the clinic would be available to do the spays.....what kind of rescue tells you to keep a feral cat locked up for a month???....that is cruel and unusual punishment. I was told by the founder that she would indeed take one of the kittens and find foster homes for the remaining kittens, but she is a flake!! she does not call back or make an effort, she does NOT care!! all she Cares about are the cats she adopts out because to her ithe Cats that will make her some money are FIRST priority, NOT the welfare in the CATS that need to be rescued so they can have a chance.
