Programs: For the fiscal year ending september 2017, florida home partnership provided financial and credit counseling, loan application in-take and loan processing services to assist usda mutual self-help housing clients to obtain mortgage financing and down-payment assistance to participate in the usda mutual self-help housing program and assisted 46 families to acquire building lots and guide the families in the construction of their own homes through the usda mutual self-help housing program.
during the fiscal year, the organization continued development of the alexander woods townhome project through the neighborhood stabilization program. The organization sold 12 townhome units to low and moderate-income home buyers and finalized construction of the remaining eight new townhome units in the development.
during the fiscal year, the organization continued implementation of the owner-occupied housing rehabilitation program for hillsborough county providing housing code and emergency repairs and energy improvements to low-income homowners. Program operating costs were $91,843 with program revenues of $30,953, and $162,799 in housing rehab expenses with $163,816 in housing rehab reimbursements from hillsborough county. Fhp provided assistance to 10 homeowner clients with housing repairs. The contract with the county was not renewed and these services were discontinued during the fiscal year.
