Programs: Promotedthroughouttheflagstaffregion,2017markedits16thyear. Freerides, freefoodforparticipants,belowcosthelmetsforchildren. Throughouttheevent,weofferfreeseminarsfor safebikeriding,freeliteratureonsafetyandtheimportanceofwearingahelmet,freebikesafetyclasses, advocacyprintadsandlotsofeventseverydayoftheevent. Lastyear,wehadover4500individualslog theirbikerideduringtheweeklongevent.
mountainbikepark:wearecontinuingtobuildanexpansivemountainbikeparkatthecoconinocounty parksystemwhichisfreetothepublic. Weareinstage3ofthebuildandhaveloggedhundredsof volunteerhours. Thisyear,wehiredacrewtohelpcompletestagetwo. Currently,wearefundraisingand lookingforinkinddonationstofinishtheproject. Over2000visitorshavevisitedtheparkthusfar.
trailprogram:incollaborationwiththeusforestserviceandcoconinocountyparks,webuild, maintainandobliterate(wherenecessary)trailsinthecoconinonationalforest. Wetrainvolunteersand providefreefoodandsnackstoallwhohelp. In2017,wepromoted11events,includingnationaltrailday. Over1000volunteeredloggingover8000volunteerhours.
