Good day, everybody. Scott Radeker here. I’m a Fives employee and foundation donor. Today, I would like to take the opportunity to bear witness to the good work that the Fives Intralogistics Charitable Foundation (FICF) has been doing in my very own electrical engineering department (talk about keeping things local!).

We recently had the spouse of one of our team members get diagnosed with an advanced form of cancer. Given the very grave situation, this person chose to resign their post so that they could take care of their significant other in their most trying time.

Our EE leadership team and frankly our entire department were highly moved by this selfless act, and wanted to see what they could do as a group to support their former teammate. Enter the FICF with a generous gift to help the family during a difficult time.

Cancer sucks. I know this first hand. It’s just really tough.  But that is one of the reasons the FICF was formed:  to handle these kinds of interventions and to be there for people in their time of need.

If you already donate to a charitable organization, I applaud you. My family donates to the foundation. It’s this type of assistance that is the hallmark of FICF’s vision and mission and what monies donated go to support. If you have slreadt Thank you! You helped ease a difficult situation for your former teammate. And if you are not yet contributing to FICF, please consider making even a small contribution each pay period. Every bit helps the foundation to be able to do good deeds, like the one they did this week.

Thanks,

Scott
