Mission: The purpose for which this organization was founded is to promote community welfare and lessen the burdens of the government of the city and county of missoula, mt and surrounding area by assisting the local police and sheriff's departments in the apprehension and conviction of criminals through making funds available for use in offering rewards; by helping develop a community offensive againist crime; by motivating members of the public to cooperate with the police and sheriff's departments and other law enforcement agencies; and by providing for rewards and awards for such cooperation.
Programs: During fiscal year ending 3/31/15 a total of 23 rewards were paid. Advertising was done to encourage reporting of the crimes. Promotional items were passed out to increase awareness of the program.
