Mission: 1. To act as a regional ems advisory body, keeping members informed about state and national issues which impact ems. 2. To promote regional coordination and cooperation of ems services. 3. To provide a forum to discuss the common problems and concerns shared by ems providers serving the first coast. 5. Programs: In 2014, our top accomplishment was fine tuning the stemi registration. In 2012, we went live with our regional stemi registry. This is a project that the council and area hospitals funded in order to benchmark our heart attack patients getting to the cath lab in a timely fashion in order to save heart tissue. We hired a data base firm to manage the data and provide the reports. We report funding from hospital as registry income.
