Mission: Provide fire protection services to the city of montevideo and surrounding area on a volunteer basis.
Programs: Provide retirement benefits to retired fire fighters. During 2014 there were 28 active fire fighters and 1 inactive fire fighter.
the volunteer fire department members work together in fighting fires and providing emergency services. Other activities include fire protection education to the community and local schools, spring sweetheart dance, fall fundraising, sales of pull-tabs and raffle.
