Causes: Mutual & Membership Benefit
Mission: The association is committed to delivering a broad base of fibre channel infrastructure technology to support a wide array of applications within the mass storage and it-based arenas. Fcia working groups and committees focus on specific aspects of the technology, targeting both vertical and horizontal markets including data storage, video, networking & storage area networking management.
Programs: The association represents its members at exhibitions, trade shows and conventions where an industry presence is beneficial and needed for the members of fcia.
develope and maintain a website to promote industry, exchange information and educate the public about its members and its services.
publish primer and newsletter to provide a voice for industry information and issues.
presents seminars and meetings to educate and engage in dialogue with industry personnel and end users regarding advances, uses, problems, standards and issues relating to the fibre channel field.
