Feel the Earth is truly a grassroots organization that offers workshops and education for local communities. I volunteered at a "Seeds on Streets" guerrilla seeding activity where Jonathan provided a seeding activity for passer-byers in the sidewalk. I'm proud to know Jonathan and see all his positive work!

Jonathan Silverman, founder of Feel the Earth, is an exceptional and passionate advocate of the environment. His ability to spread environmental awareness and educate youth is something I've witnessed first hand as the producer of the nationally syndicated TV show Eco Company, hosted by teens. We recently featured Feel the Earth and it's work with a San Francisco school in our program. The segment highlighted Jonathan teaching high school students both how to build an outdoor compost bin as well as explaining in great detail the natural process by which composting occurs. He engaged the teens in every step of the project. Feel the Earth is truly dedicated to fostering environmental awareness not just in youth , but also the rest of us!

Jonathan visited the library I work for with a program for children, called "The Art of Seeding." The program perfectly fulfills the mission of "Feel the Earth"! Jonathan offered a delightful and age-tailored introduction in how to take part in tending and producing food and flowers. The children and adults were captivated and took home their planted seeds to carry on their learning and involvement. An excellent program offered by someone whose belief in sustainable agriculture is inspiring. If Jonathan offers a program for you, it is guaranteed to generate understanding about this cause and play a role in increasing the strength of this movement.
