Mission: The main mission of Feed All God’s Children is to conduct a “free lunch program” that serves lunch to any member of the community who attends. The program is conducted at St. Peter’s Church located at 33 Throckmorton Street, Freehold. In direct response to the needs of the poor, the free lunch program has been serving hot meals three days each week and four days during the winter months. Additionally, the mission of FAGC includes providing food to those unable to leave their homes to provide for themselves, including the elderly and disabled, and those who temporarily need assistance due to their circumstances. The mission has also expanded to include providing food and clothing to the women and children residing in shelters in Monmouth and Ocean counties.
Results: The Director of FAGC, James F. Benedict, has supervised the free lunch program since 2003 and oversees all activities. The lunch program is administered by volunteers and supported entirely by donations. From January 2015 through December 2015, FAGC served approximately 82,512 meals. We also handed out 4,012 Bibles and thousands of items of clothing.
