Mission: Faulu Productions is a non-profit community-based organization working to strengthen the livelihoods of Refugees and host communities through education, agriculture, Skills for Life, conservation of the environment, and other community projects. It was founded in Kakuma refugee camp on the 30th of June 2015 by refugee youths from the DRCongo, Somali, and Sudan. We are officially registered and recognized by the government of Kenya through the Ministry of East African Community Our mission is to promote youth talents, create a safe, sustainable living that enables social change, and education for marginalized communities; Empowerment to the vulnerable. OUR CORE VALUES 1. Hospitality and Closeness drive us to accompany and welcome the most vulnerable people (Women, disables, old ages, and children). 2. Responsibility and commitment: inspire us to be accountable to the people we serve and spend our time to make sure they benefit from what they deserve at the right time. 3. Dignity and justice: drive us to respect all refugees and members of the host community. We believe that all people are equal; therefore, they should be treated equally regardless of their race, gender, religious beliefs, nationalities, and cultures. 4. Inclusion and Participation: inspire us to make all refugees and members of the host community feel part of the society, and in turn to play their role to fight or report a stumbling block that might prevent them from enjoying their human rights.

I am SUMAIDI KENASI OBEDY male by gender aged of 35 years old, refugee native of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
I have been working with Faulu Productions since the year 2018, at the beginning I was hired as a Community based trainer , then with much industriousness and commitment to the work and my visionary dream of positively impacting the progress of the company; my working strategies and ambitions impressed my employers and after six months working as a community based trainer I was promoted to become the project coordinator, since my vision to bringing the organization to the next advanced level as compared to where we are currently, last year I got promoted to becoming the program Manager of which I am assuming my duties and responsibilities as prescribed by my job description.
The followings are the current programs under Faulu Productions: Education for both children and adults, Community Empowerment, Livelihoods, Permaculture and Environment.
Since my joining of the organization, I have committedly been working for positive change by ensuring that all the departments are well operating and the community is being empowered in a manner that we better the life standard of the marginalized and vulnerable refugees.
My goal to the organization for this year 2023 is to ensure that our projects are expanded in other various locations of Kakuma refugee camp by valuing more the community inclusion including caring for the disabled, voicing for all voiceless ones, promoting gender equality, guiding the youths to better choosing of careers, eradicating sexual gender based violence and advocating for the rights of children for better future construction.
I would like addressing my innest gratitude to all good-wishers who keep on supporting us for the growth of our organization by caring for the vulnerable individuals, secondly I thank the entire Faulu productions team for the better organizing of the activities, nice implementation of the projects and goal oriented mindsets of bringing community change.
