Our students are motivated to achieve through the integration of the visual, performing, and recording arts. Our teachers rigorously use research based strategies that propel all children to increase their self-efficacy, and self-worth while they participate in creative projects that are proven to increase standardized test scores. In the secondary, these projects are aligned with vocational goals as project participants are sponsored by business partners and ultimately become apprentices in desired occupations. By the beginning of the 2008-2009 year, the small school in an obscure building on the southside of jacksonville, fl was beginning to show signs of life and flourish just as the director had envisioned.
