Causes: Disaster Aid, First Aid
Mission: To teach cpr classes to the general public.
Programs: The organization continued to offer first aid cpr and aed training programs, making available one thousand classes to the community of island of oahu. Organization also conducted health and safety related training programs throughout the year at hotels, construction and environmental companies. Further safety compliance related classes were conducted with the aim of improving health, safety and employment outlook of the hawaiian islands. These classes were targeted to local individuals in need of career change, in effort to help them transition to better jobs in health care industry, construction industry, tourism industry in hawaii. Infant cpr training was offered through new born care classes at three major community healthcare facilities. Organization set up and successfully implement safety programs at elementary schools providing training in first aid, cpr, hazard avoidance and emergency preparedness. Training was provided to school staff and after school counselors. Organization set up a hazard recognition educational program and successfully implemented the program to train industrial work places, teaching the importance of personal protective equipment in prevention of potential work place related respiratory hazards.
