Mission: Fashion institute midwest was formed for the promotion of education through the instruction or training of the individual fashion industry segment for the purpose of promoting education through the promotion of arts and culture expressed in the area of fashion design.
Programs: Nurture aspiring designer talent by supporting and developing the midwest fashion ecosystem through programs that offer creative inspiration, training opportunities, resources and business incubation to unlock the creative entrepreneurial potential in our young people. Designer grants were paid in 2017. Grants are issued to designers for expenses that further their creativity, production, and businesses and may include supplies, travel, and professional services. The grants are awarded on a qualified basis.
