Programs: Family-Based Mental Heath Services are provided for children or adolescents up to age 21 with serious emotional or behavioral challenges and their families. This program is for children and youth who, without Familylinks' help, may need hospitalization or other out-of-home placement. The main goal is to help parents care for their children in their own home. Staff provides interventions, support services, and therapy in the home, school, and community. Services are team delivered and designed to integrate mental health treatment, family support, case management, crisis intervention, and stabilization services. Crisis intervention and stabilization services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Referral to the program may be made by a physician or licensed psychologist who must provide a diagnosis of a mental illness.
