We believe In focusing on family strengths rather than limitations, that the human spirit in all people is worthy of respect, all people are capable of life change, and that all families deserve the opportunity for positive change and growth.

Programs: financial assistance to pay the rent or mortgage, food, clothing, healthcare, utility assistance, child care, crisis intervention, holiday gifts, advocacy, case management, transportation, counseling, application assistance, or that hard to find resource you just can’t seem to find. Family Resource Coordinator is here to help you through it all with kindness, compassion, dignity, and respect. Additionally, our shelter (Pear Blossom Place) is the largest emergency family shelter in Thurston County. We moved to a brand new, renovated, beautiful space on July 1; offering 30+ beds to homeless families with children, open 24hrs a day! It is staffed 100% by volunteers from 5pm to 7am every night of the year.
