Programs: The program is wisconsin's early intervention program for infants and toddlers with developmental delays and disabilities and their families. In 2014, 619 families were provided services in the areas of special instruction, communication, occupational and physical therapy, social work, family education and counseling, vision, audiology, assistive, technology, nutrition, mental health, and service coordination. Interpreters, translators, and bilingual staff are available to ensure services are provided to families in their first language.
the safe at home program is a resource for children, ages infant to eleven, and families of dane county who are experiencing significant life stress, conflict, or child welfare issues such as abuse or neglect. Safe at home is an intensive family counseling program designed to work with families in their homes where the immediacy of problems can be addressed and resolved. The safe at home team works in collaboration with the family to build on family strengths and empower parents to solve family problems, help families resolve behavioral problems, and keep families safely together to avoid disruptive and costly foster care placements. In 2014, 45 families were served for a total of 668 hours.
educational partnership provides school consultation and training to school districts both statewide and nationally. The program helps teachers, parents, and staff work together to offer effective and innovative educational programming for students with autism and other learning or behavioral needs.
