Family Connection of Easton, Inc.

Results: Just last year alone Family Connection of Easton: • Touched approximately 750 children and their families or caregivers through referrals or program services; • Provided family support and case management to over 250 families, helping them save $176,500 by increasing utilization of public and community services; • Provided after-school academic support for 105 students; • Conducted 1,000 educational home visits for preschool aged children; • Provided over 100 holiday meals & distributed 250 holiday gifts to families in need; • Hosted Kindergarten transition visits for 120 preschool students; and • Provided parenting education workshops for 13 families

Programs: • Family Support and Case Management to improve family self-sufficiency and school involvement; • Parents Who Care—a family wellness and parenting education program for parents of children aged 5-12; • Health & Wellness Initiative to provide access to free or low-cost health insurance as well as school-based preventative and restorative vision and dental health services; • The Cheston Cougars Learning Club (CCLC)--an after-school enrichment environment for students to develop literacy & math skills; • The Parent Child Home Program to prepare preschool age children and their families for a successful school start through 100 learning-based home visits over two years; and • Kindergarten Connection—a community-wide initiative that engages preschools, students, parents, businesses, community service organizations, and the Easton Area School District to increase school readiness.
