Mission: It is our mission to promote the value of wisconsin's electric system, champion equitable funding and lead the discussion about the thoughtful integration of distributed generation into wisconsin's electrical infrastructure system.
Programs: Our publications and media communications provide information to the general public and policymakers on important issues and policies that directly impact wisconsin energy policy. Through our grassroots lobbying efforts, we educate and engage wisconsin residents to support policies for a centralized power system and grid for wisconsin. We undertake a wide range of education and advocacy activities to ensure that it reaches a broad spectrum of the public on important energy issues. Part of this education effort may be participation in proceedings before the public service commission of wisconsin and/or wisconsin courts.
we conduct information-gathering and research on public policy issues in wisconsin central to our purposes and mission. This research involves monitoring current events and mainstream media sources, conducting independent research from various sources within and outside of wisconsin, including opinion research polling, and communicating directly with community members and leaders on timely issues related to our purposes. These research initiatives provide us the information we need to fulfill our exempt purpose through our various advocacy and grassroots lobbying communication initiatives.
