Mission: Exposure skate is a california non-profit corporation formed for the purpose of the education and empowerment of women and girls in the areas of health, community service, sports and athletic opportunity through activities, including but not limited to filmmaking and the sport of skateboarding.
Programs: Exposure skate brought female athlete representation to various charitable events. These athletes participated in events such as the clash at clairemont and performed in skateboarding demonstrations to help raise money to fight cancer. Exposure skate also organized school visits and skateboarding clinics and demonstrations for at-risk youth in costa rica. Exposure organized a team of volunteers to bring skateboarding products and apparel to schools and skateboard parks in costa rica. The team taught and equipped local youth as well as gave inspirational speeches at schools. Exposure skate also organized skateboarding demonstrations at the biggest women's surf events in the world. These demonstrations served to inspire girls and raise money for survivors of domestic violence. Exposure skate representatives gained international recognition by participating in women's events in sweden and spoke about the organization on international webcasts. The organization's volunteers also produced video content that covered talented female athletes to publish on international platforms to inspire women and girls.
