This non-profit was established in January 2020 and immediately obtained certification for 501(c)3 status in February, after 6 months of planning and one sponsored activity - a 3-day/4-night, all expenses paid tour of Washington, DC, and round-trip transportation via Amtrak from Vermont, for a WWII Veteran to see the monuments and visit the museums that he'd last visited when he'd been deployed over 50 years ago.
Then COVID-19 bogged things down, but the organization remains optimistic that it will soon be possible to obtain grant funding and/or private donations to sponsor other deserving beneficiaries in similar reward trips.
