Mission: Exodus Refugee Immigration works with refugees, worldwide victims of persecution, injustice and war, to establish self-sufficient lives in freedom and sanctuary for themselves and their families in Indiana.
Target demographics: refugees, asylees, and victims of human trafficking
Direct beneficiaries per year: Last year Exodus welcomed 859 new refugees from countries such as Burma, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Iraq, Bhutan, Somalia, and Eritrea. We are projecting another 710 refugees this year.
Geographic areas served: Indianapolis
Programs: Exodus welcomes refugees here to Indiana and offers them a place to call home. We work to arrange housing, food and clothing, case management, as well as education, employment and health services for individuals and families starting out in their new lives.
