Mission: To contribute to the education of young people, through a value-based system, to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society.
Results: Registered in September 2021, our non-profit organisation aims to promote education and socio-economic development by providing education, leadership, and community-building support initiatives to individuals and marginalised communities through grassroots activities encouraging literacy, community peace, tolerance, and development. We piloted the South Sudan National Spelling Bee in 2022 and have reached over 3,000 beneficiaries, including pupils and teachers, in over 20 Juba-based schools. We scaled it to Yei River County in partnership with God Loves You Initiative and Kapoeta with the collaboration of Obey Graphics Ltd in 2023. We run a prefects board mentorship program in six Juba and Yei primary and secondary schools, benefitting 150 student and pupil leaders in 2022. An online personal development masterclass project now called “Your Skill Boost” on several topics, including personal branding, online productivity tools, peace and reconciliation, attracted an average of 25 attendees per session nationwide (even beyond) and over 1,500 attendees since inception in June 2022, building a robust online career network of over 700 WhatsApp group members. In partnership with Koneta Hub and the Wikimedia Community User Group South Sudan, we held the first Wikimania in South Sudan that brought together 26 Wikimedians in three days of enriching and once-in-a-lifetime Wikipedia learning in August 2022. We have a quality-oriented, dedicated, qualified, and experienced volunteer project staff, from compliance to community mobilisers, who are passionate about our mission and vision.
