Mission: The organization shall undertake charitable, religious, educational or scientific activities, including but not limited to assisting national, state and local organizations with using evidence-based practices to promote and support breastfeeding families. Every mother seeks to improve the health of families by providing counseling and breastfeeding education and resources for health professionals and the families they support. Every mother works closely with federal and state programs that serve infants and children, with a special emphasis on reducing health dispararities among resource-deprived families, including populations served by the usda wic program.

grant with new york department of health to develope workplace breastfeeding supply materials and provide training to wic staff.
dhhs/office of women's health contracts to develop a national searchable resource and video for employers of hourly workers to highlight solutions for supporting breastfeeding in the workplace; conduct training with federal agencies, outreach to national business organizations regarding how to support breastfeeding mothers at work.
