Causes: Education, Literacy, Remedial Reading & Encouragement
Mission: To create a literate workforce that contributes to economic growth and development in escambia county by supporting early childhood literacy.
Programs: In 2016, ecare increased volunteers to serve pre-kindergarten students attending five high-need schools through the reading pal program, family involvement efforts and supporting early education providers. Ecare continues to be focused on building a community where every child enters school ready to learn.
