Mission: Our primary purpose is to acquire, manage, conserve, and protect forest lands in perpetuity so as to provide stable economic opportunities for washington state's rural forest-dependent workers and to educate the public on environmentally sound forest management.
Programs: The trust has not started formal operations but the board has met to determine how to best create and implement a strategy for financing forestlands to support the objectives and policies of forterra, its 501(c)(3) supported organization.
