I am currently on the EPSF board and have been lucky to be witness to all the support they give children and families in need. They make it possible for young children to be a part of a preschool environment with supports for bilingual families. They offer grants to teachers that want to add supports and new ways of learning to expand opportunities to their diverse communities.

The Everett Public Schools Foundation consistently serves as the financial bridge between student needs and state/local funding. The executive staff works collaboratively with school district leadership to fund projects that support the district's mission and vision. It is an honor to donate my time and treasure as a board member of this organization that consistently makes a difference in our community.
The Everett Public Schools Foundation is an outstanding support for our students, families, and school. Without their ongoing, consistent support, many of our students would not have the supplies that they need to be successful in their classrooms from Day #1. EPSF has a history of recognizing needs and working to align resources to fill those crucial gaps. From classroom grants to funding the most basic/foundational of needs, EPSF is an invaluable part of our Everett community.
As a school principal in Everett, the work of this foundation has been immeasurable. EPSF raises money through community donations that help support our schools with classroom grants, Everett Ready Kindergarten readiness week, student basic needs, and so much more. Our district is so appreciative of the work of this group.
The Everett Public Schools Foundation is a non-profit worth donating to! As a long-time parent and community member in this school district, I am honored to serve on the Board of the Everett Public Schools Foundation. The Foundation provides so much positive support within the schools and community. Some specifics funded in our schools are clothing for students to be able to attend school, Lyft/Uber cards so families can take students to therapy, weighted items and fidget tools for mental health help, home necessities (laundry soap, hygiene, food), lock boxes/door alarms to ensure home safety, gas gift cards, and so much more. Additionally, our Stuff the Bus drive and classroom grant program are top notch!
The Everett Public Schools Foundation does so much good for our students and our school community!
One of my favorite programs that they are a major supporter of is the district’s early childhood program - Everett’s Play and Learn program is available daily, for children under age 5 to have a safe engaging space to learn with their parent or caregiver. This free program sets children up for success once they enter kindergarten. And with the foundation’s support, this program is free to families!
The foundation helps to fill in the gaps where public school funding falls short, and they are an asset to our community that deserves our support.

I continue to remain impressed by the Foundation's impact on the Everett School District community. It sounds like such a simple thing to make sure that kids have school supplies, or that Everett's Play and Learn program remains free while offering qualify child/caregiver opportunities 5 days a week. Or providing new teacher grants to help them set up their classrooms, annual classroom grants for students to get access to some of the extras that public schools struggle to fund. They make a huge difference!
Our community is better when our students have the tools they need to learn and thrive, and the Everett Public School Foundation helps to meet those needs for our students before, during and after their K-12 journey.
I have the honor of serving as one of Everett Public School Foundation's board members. Over the course of the 4 years, I have had the privilege to serve as a board member and see first hand the incredible work of this foundation and the way in which they support and uplift our Everett community and students. For example the student supports they provide from student needs funding, early learning programs, classroom grants, and DEI students grants are extraordinary. Cannot recommend enough!

The Foundation supports all students, as well as our staff and families by filling the gaps and providing the important programs and support not funded by the state. We are so fortunate to have the presence of the EPS Foundation in our district. It provides programs and resources to enhance our students' learning and success. Programs such as to help prepare high schoolers for college or a career choice, handing out school supplies to those in need and scholarships to those continuing on to college, as well as, various grants and financial support to our district's Family Resource Center (FCR). The FCR provides resources for the students and their families as well.
Our daughter, a 2022 EHS graduate, was one of many college bound students who received a scholarship from the EPS Foundation. We are grateful for the resources and support through the EPS Foundation and we also appreciate the work of the many volunteers that make all this possible!
So grateful for the Everett Public Schools foundation. They are always putting the students, staff, and families from the Everett School District first. As a local business owner, donor, parent, and board member, I fully support the mission and efforts of the Everett Public Schools Foundation. In my role current role on the finance committee, I have been able to observe the fiscal responsibility of this organization run by a passionate executive director and board. EPSF raises funds and friends to support the students and educators of the Everett School District. EPSF support has been the catalyst for launching numerous incubator programs that have subsequently been integrated district-wide. Aa parent with adult children working in the educational field, I know how critically important it is for school districts to have foundations like EPSF that can help provide financial and community support for students and projects that cannot be funded through tax dollars.
The Everett Public Schools Foundation provides much needed funding to programs that support students and families. I am proud to be a Board member and cannot rate this nonprofit high enough.
The Everett Public Schools Foundation is a key partner for our public schools. They provide funding for programs that would otherwise fall short. Students and teachers alike have grown to depend upon the Foundation as a resource to allow them to succeed.
A caring and effective support for our teachers, students and parents.
It takes a village, and EPSF is on Main Street. Well run, well thought of and well
directed.
EPSF is a great supporter of our music programs in EPS. Every year, they donate to Music4Life which helps get instruments into the hands of students free of charge. The EPSF donation helps to provide additional instruments for students who need them most!
I am the current President of Everett PTSA Council 7.3, which provides support for 27 local PTAs in Everett School District. I have been in the council for several years and we consider Everett Public Schools Foundation to be a strategic partner. Like PTA, Everett Public Schools Foundation believes in the success of every child, and the funds they raise go towards critical programs to enhance child learning opportunities. Their organization also offers classroom grants as well as grants for high school students. But one of my personal favorite activities hosted by this organization is their annual "Stuff the Bus for Kids!" event... during which time they literally pack busloads of backpacks and a variety of school supplies for students and families in need in our district. Everett Public Schools Foundation is a wonderful organization that many other organizations should aspire to be, and my family will continue to support their efforts long after my time in the council has passed.

Their work is so important as they support the kids! And boy do they make a difference!
The Everett Public Schools Foundation has done a great job of relaying information to parents. They have been able to gather student feedback by creating a spot for students on the Board Team.
The Everett Public Schools Foundation supports students throughout the school district - at all schools and all levels - with its wide range of programs. I have volunteered with the Foundation in a variety of endeavors for several years and I love how they have adapted to help the community as the needs have changed, such as with early childhood learning programs and helping with technology during the pandemic. Perhaps the Foundation's best-known program is the Stuff the Bus for Kids school supply drive, which provided about 3,600 backpacks full of supplies to students in Everett Public Schools for the 2022-23 school year.

Each year, the Foundation provides grants to innovative teachers in Everett Public Schools to allow them to stretch their curricula, to support their students, or to provide experiences beyond the classroom. That is just one of the many programs that made me a supporter of the Foundation for the past 8-9 years. Students at all levels and all schools feel the reach of these programs.
Such an amazing Non-Profit with outstanding community partners. The work being done transforms students' lives and builds on the future.
As a board member, I have the benefit of interacting with both students and teachers as we implement our programs. Two of my favorites are the Classroom Grants and Superintendent Scholar Awards. The Classroom Grants encourage teachers to use creativity in supplementing district curriculum with content relevant for the student population. The creativity, thoughtfulness and insight is a true testament to how much teachers care. For the Superintendent Scholar Awards, four seniors from each of the high schools recognize a teacher that impacted their education. It's a pleasure to support the district and teachers in their important work.
Everett Public Schools Foundation works hard to provide resources to families, students, and teachers most in need. They've also intentionally focused on equity initiatives, including examining district data and working to increase board diversity.
My daughter started as a new teacher in the district 3 years ago. As you can imagine, it is expensive to start setting up a classroom as a young teacher. Through a new teacher grant provided by the Foundation, my daughter was able to purchase vital supplies for her life Skills Class. The grant are it a little easier for her to be ready on the first day of school. Many of the learning tools she was able to purchased are still being used and enjoyed by her sweet students. She is, as am I, very grateful to the Everett Public Schools Foundation for their support of new teachers.
The EPS Foundation is an essential partner for the Everett School District. The Stuff the Bus drive at the start of the school year provides students with brand new school supplies, and their teacher and classroom grants offer educators opportunities to enrich the lives of students through new and unique programs. Additionally, the Foundation provides scholarships to senior students to pursue their college dreams. It really is an A+ organization, made up of passionate and caring individuals working on behalf of our students and schools.

The Everett Public Schools Foundation works hard all year long to help meet the needs of students and teachers in our district. As a donor, my favorite part is hearing the innovative projects that are able to happen because of their teacher grants. I am grateful that school professionals who work directly with the kids have access to the Basic Needs grants given to each school, to make a difference when students need it the most. Between their annual school supply "Stuff the Bus" campaign, teacher and basic needs grants, and scholarships to students, they are a huge support for our schools.
Great resource for the students and staff of the Everett Public Schools.

I love that the Everett Public Schools Foundation thinks about not only big programs, but also small ones. A $100 grant may not seem like a lot but to a brand new teacher, that money will help set up a classroom. And paying a fine on behalf of a student in order to receive a transcript from another district so they can graduate goes a long way.
Incredible organization that is centered on assisting and supporting the students of Everett Public Schools. They continue to impress me with their innovative thinking, programs, contributions, and willingness to help students in need in any means possible.
As a member of the Everett Public Schools community as well as an employee of the district, I have seen firsthand how the Foundation has helped students in great ways. Ensuring students have their basic needs met is a priority of the Foundation and it provides schools with a fund to support students who are missing one or more of these needs. Additionally, the Foundation is committed to bringing innovative instruction into the classrooms and supports that commitment by issuing classroom grants to teachers or teacher teams so they can bring collaboration and real-life experiences to their instruction.
The EPS Foundation's Stuff the Bus for Kids back to school supply drive is an incredible program that supports students and families in our community. It provided over 2,000 stuffed backpacks this past August for students so that they could start the school year ready to learn. It also takes the burden off of the families who can't afford to purchase school supplies.
Having had one son graduate from Jackson High School and a spouse who teaches in the school district, I was drawn to the Everett Public Schools Foundation as a way to support our community's students and teachers. I have been involved as a board member for a number of years and have witnessed the many impacts the Foundation has had : supporting new teachers starting out to providing grants for all sorts of learning opportunities in the classroom; recognizing students in arts and music programs; supporting students with scholarships; helping provide students with backpacks and basic needs to start school off; to being a catalyst for pre-school learning programs. The Foundation has adapted and grown through this period of Covid and is poised to continue to play an instrumental role in supporting our students , educators, and school district in the future.
The Everett Public Schools Foundation is a tremendous asset to our school district and community. Through their support of programs that enrich the classroom experience for teachers and students alike and help prepare our youngest learners for academic success, to providing financial support for career and college going seniors, they have a positive and direct impact on hundreds of students and families. Their programs are derived from a strategic plan that is responsive to the educational needs of the district, and are effectively executed due to strong leadership and board. I greatly appreciate all they do!
I worked at Everett Public Schools for 10 years and had the privilege of working with the Foundation in that time. The Foundation's leaders and board designed programs and outreach aligned with the school district's goals and focused on learning support for each student. Long before the state paid for full day kindergarten for all students, the Foundation helped ensure more students had access to all day K with scholarships to that program. Today's "Stuff the Bus" school supply drive grew in its early years from an idea to gather "some" backpacks and supplies for some low-income schools into a mega drive each fall that gathers thousands for students in every school in the district. "High School and Beyond" was initially a career and college exploration program at one high school; with the Foundation's help it has grown into a three day event for K-12 students and families to learn about planning for high school and beyond. The Foundation sponsors the three days -- including food for attendees and keynote speakers. The Foundation helps highlight art in the district -- coordinating elementary, middle and high school art shows at the central office each year -- complete with a gallery showing for parents, ribbons and award nights. A Foundation art scholarship goes to an aspiring artist each year, and the Foundation buys and frames a high school student's art piece annually. The Superintendent Scholar event is an annual highlight sponsored by the Foundation. These are just some of the examples of the Foundation's focus on supporting and enhancing student learning and preparing them to be successful after high school too.
The Everett Public Schools Foundation serves students, families, staff and community. They support teachers with classroom grants, they lead several school supply drives helping students get backpacks and supplies, they sponsor the Superintendent Scholarship Awards and more! They are a grassroots organization and they follow the vision the school district has for student success.
Everett Public Schools Foundation does a great job of supporting students and staff in the district by providing extra opportunities and enrichment that would simply not be possible without their efforts!
I'm so thankful for the Everett Public Schools Foundation and their efforts supporting our students needs from early learning programs to college bound scholarships; the EPS Foundation fills the gaps in funding where it's needed the most! Their support of our students at every grade level as well as supporting our teachers through classroom grants, has made a tremendous impact on our school community. Keep up the amazing efforts EPS Foundation!
This foundation has done amazing things for Everett Public schools from projects like Stuff the Bus to classroom grants supporting innovation and excellence and Early learning projects. The Foundation has supported my classrooms with grants for projects that focused on student led projects to engage in problem solving using community partners. The projects addressed real life problems for authentic audiences like a Water Pollution Fair put on by our fifth graders.
