Nonprofit Overview
Mission: Our Mission is to help women and youth who are primarily forsaken by community values and customs,to have a voice in their families,and enjoy their potential to the fullest.
Results: We have 8 groups consisting of 8-30 members around the four counties covered,and we are still recruiting more groups for assistance relative to resources available.The groups are currently funded by members through donations,and revolving funds.
Target demographics: Women and youth
Direct beneficiaries per year: 250 Households
Geographic areas served: Narok,Kajiado,Samburu
Programs: Introduction of Greenhouse farming as an alternative to cattle keeping,and Bead work to earn them a living,and promote culture as a way of empowering women to provide for families,and assist youth to desist from vices such as drug use and abuse.
