Monica was not charged for any crime. The shady deputy was after her. He was fired. She worked to get her horses back but because of statute of limitations and the drawn out process she didn’t.
Monica was exonerated.
Do your homework. I’m reporting the comment as libel.

A completely bogus non-profit. This operation, ERC, lost its CA non profit status. They have now changed name to B2H. ERC recently had a herd of 33 horses seized by state of CA for abuse. I believe the founder, Monica, is now facing charges in SLO County Court.

Find a real charity, not this one!

Monica Hardeman Founder/President is running a top notch rescue. Creating change for the voiceless. Rescuing starved, abused, neglected horses have met an angel when they have met Monica & her team at ERC. Serving over 80 rescued horses at her facility. Creating awareness for everyone to change how horses and animals are treated when abuse, neglect, and starvation is occurring. Fighting for quicker and stricter laws and punishment for animal abuse cases. Gaining recognition from Fellow rescues and animal rights groups everywhere and recognized by the Unwanted Horse Coalition.
