Mission: Public education of minnesota laws that discriminate against same-sex couples and their families.
Programs: Public education of minnesota laws that discriminate against same-sex couples and their familes. Accomplishments in 2012: led the research efforts that framed all marriage education efforts in the state, including polling as well as traditional and on-line focus groups to ascertain effective messaging. Undertook outreach to a variety of business groups, including chambers of commerce, rotary clubs, and other business trade associations. Presented on the 515 minnesota laws and their business implications at fortune 500 company headquartered in minnesota. Worked closely with media outlets and reporters around the state and nationally, being featured in such media outlets as the star tribune, st. Paul pioneer press, minnesota public radio, minnpost, st. Cloud times, duluth news tribune, and wcco, as well as nationally in the new york times and bloomberg report. Produced a statewide educational program entitled "515-the tour," with venues in duluth, ely, mankato, austin, winona, east grand forks and more.
