EPIC is the primary organization who protects what's left of our forests in the northwest. They are tireless in their efforts to save endangered species and in their monitoring of agencies who do not do their job according to environmental laws! They have successfully litigated against government agencies and big business and helped set new legal precedents in the process. EPIC has helped in the establishment of the Sinkyone Wildnerness and the Headwaters Forest. They are focused on connecting the patches of old growth forest so there are linkages for the wildlife that depend on old growth can survive.
