The strength of Enrichment Circle, Inc. which publishes The Circle Gazette, is that it provides a safe and friendly outlet for children's creativity. We love children's writing voices and we support their individual writing efforts. We provide feedback, yes, but we want to hear their original thoughts and words. Through workshops, classroom outreach, and regular newspaper publication, we support and celebrate their efforts. We also love to publish their artwork. The Circle Gazette publishes essays, nonfiction articles, stories, poems, and art.

As a teacher of creative writing, the Circle Gazette is a great forum for students to express themselves, learn the editorial process, and feel the joy of being published. This newspaper offers a rare opportunity for children to hone their writing skills, learn how to cover a news story and express their opinions about life events as only they can. We are interested in what kids have to say. We love giving children a voice. We welcome all submissions, no matter what level the child is at. We will even assign a news story for those who express an interest. This is an amazing newspaper that nurtures the writers soul. We look forward to your submissions!

This is a great newspaper for children who love to read and write. They get to read their own stories and other children's as well. They can also illustrate their stories or just submit a picture they have drawn. My daughter did both and enjoyed seeing it actually printed in a newspaper for others to read. The volunteers that run it are wonderful people and put a lot of time in effort into this for the love of children, literature and the great Circle Gazette.

This is a GREAT organization that promotes literacy skills through their community newspaper. The kids are an active part in this and that is what makes it spectacular! My son recently wrote an article about Summer in Seattle. He had a great time planning, writing, editing his story. He would like to be more involved with the Circle Gazette. Hopefully one day, we will make it out to Florida to show our support of literacy for the Circle Gazette. Keep up the GREAT work on this newspaper that inspires kids to be fantastic writers!

I love volunteering for the Circle Gazette (an initiative of the Enrichment Circle, it is a newspaper written by children for children, independently published and is free for the children to submit their articles, art, poem, etc.), I love to read the stories and see the artwork the children create. It is refreshing to view things from a child's perspective, a break from the adult's daily responsibilities. At events, it's encouraging to see how much the children like seeing their work published and their confidence exudes. I will keep volunteering for the Circle Gazette as my girls are just getting to the ages to start submitting regularly and I want to help make this available to them. I think I like this project most because the kids who write for the paper really enjoy writing and creating. No one is telling them to do it, they want to do it, and they love it. It is a very safe forum to build self esteem by practicing and honing their editorial and artistic skills.
