Mission: Enrich children's lives and their environment
Programs: Helped local communities inside the protected area make improvements to an educational enrichment and organic agriculture center for the benefit of 834 impoverished students in the area and the 17 communities where they live, supported 17 organic school gardens to supplement the nutrition of the students, and delivered additional educational activities to these students in the 17 rural schools and at the center in the country of honduras, central america. Serving a total population of more than 3,500 people. The center we are supporting also hosts educational classes, events and meetings in support of the protected area. Enrich the world supported official studies of the plant and animal life in the cloud forest and tropical dry forest in the area, supported the local health center by supporting a health fair event, provided library resources and satellite internet for local students in the area, helped organize and coordinate a local model forest group for the sustainable use of the natural resources of the area and provided a international volunteer program in honduras. On august 23 2013 enrich the world officially signed a 5 year agreement to co-manage the protected area with other local organizations.
