Causes: Adoption, Children & Youth
Mission: To provide humanitarian aid for orphans around the world, including kazakhstan, russia, china, and africa. To assist qualified couples in adopting orphans from these countries and to sponsor mission trips to these countries several times a year.
Programs: Created a new brochure promoting donations to orphan impact and printed @,500 copies. Included brochure in empowering kids products. Spoke and consulted at churches and conferences promoting orphan impact, creating awareness of the plight of orphans internationally, educating parents on international adoption and soliciting donations. Showed promotional video, pictures of adopted daughter (before and after), handed out promo cards, fundraising. Granted two grants during the year for adoption totaling $3,500. Donated approximately 25 pairs of suede, fur lined booties to an organization traveling to an orphanage in kazakhstan to distribute to the babies and toddlers there. Partnered with two hearts fro hope to give these away since were were unable to travel this year to kazakhstan due to lack of funding.
