Programs: Employu has been assisting persons with disabilities with employment since 2012. In 2016 employu accepted 675 adults referred from the state of florida department of education's division of vocational rehabilitation for permanent placement. A total of 288 adults with disabilities were placed in appropriate permanent job positions. The retention rate for these individuals averaged 85% over a 90 or 150 day period. Employu completed on-the-job trainings with 51 adults and 62 adults completed 20-hours of job readiness class. Employu's transitions program placed 51 youth in on-the-job training work experiences and performed work readiness training for 41 students.
employu's vocational evaluation program completed 292 vocational evaluations for persons with disabilities designed to determine a suitable vocational goal and an individual plan for employment (ipe) that will lead to a new career.
