Mission: To meet the basic emergency needs (i. E. Food and clothing) of those in the elk grove community
Programs: Elk grove food closet - organized and collected food from annual food drives and distributed the food collected to individuals and families in need. During this fiscal year 529,000 meals were served to 58,311 people. 22,000 volunteer hours were donated in providing these meals and supporting this and other organization activities.
elk grove clothes closet - the organization, through requests from local schools, churches and the food bank, provides clothing to those in need in the elk grove community. During this fiscal year 18,680 people were served by this program.
support works - the "support works" is an empowering program for individuals who find themselves faced with life challenges such as divorce, unemployment, release from incarceration, etc. The program provides mentors to local individuals through its partnership with soroptomist of elk grove. During this fiscal year 16,800 men and women were served by this program.
