Mission: Services for the elderly and general public transit
Programs: Transportation - transportation is provided for all elk county citizens for shopping, medical and personal needs. Public donations and feeds for trips support this program. We provide 1200+ trips per year to approximately 100 people. We have very limited medical and shopping available in the county.
senior centers - we provide minimal support for 5 senior centers. Four centers have noon meals five days a week. Funding provided through county mill levy. Centers are used for meals, socialization, exercise groups, and are a focal point in each community. We do not keep a tally on the nubmer served as our funding assists with utility costs.
administration - costs are not all covered by grants for our various programs. Mill levy covers some costs that are not reimbursed by grant programs that we administer. Payroll, rent, etc are in part i.

Health screening - served 56 seniors provided seniors over the age of 60 with health screening at a local health fair, foot care screeing and other screening through their personal doctor. Expenses 1,150. 00 inhome services - served 31 people with 1883 hours of housekeeping and bathing assistance provided personal items to seniors enabling them to remain in their homes, funding through local, federal, and state grants, other donations, and fees. Expenses 36,800. 00 caregiver information and assistance - assistance with forms to get on programs available to get help in the home and releive part of the burden. Information programs and newsletter to make them aware of services available. Served 57 people with 12 programs and 533 contacts for assistance. Expenses 8,436. 00. Senior care - information provided through senior centers and assistance with application for seniors to access services needed to allow them to remain in the home. Served 114 people with 962 units of service. Expenses 11,189. 00
