I think it awesome what Kenya is doing for the young ladies in the Atlanta area ..Trying to teach them self respect not to give in to peer pressure and how to set goals and achieve them..
I see my mom work very hard on her organization. For hours on end she is doing something to put her organization into rotation whether its on the computer, setting up events, making gift baskets, and others. she is very dedicated to strengthening young female adults into having a better future for themselves.
My name is Kenya Miles & I am the founder of Elite Ladies of Atlanta. There are several reason why I wanted to start a non-profit organization that would focus wholeheartedly on our female youth. One major reason being the lack of community involvement that I have noticed amongst my peers in my respective community. My age group (35-38) within the communities in which I reside don't focus on our youth or youth involvement, with the exception to recreational sports. There were no places for young girls to go outside of the educational system that would support & encourage them to be all that they could potentially be. It was heartbreaking to say the least. I feel my purpose in life is to aid/help every young girl or teenage that wants to push herself to the limits & to experience EVERYTHING that life has to offer.

Though Elite Ladies of Atlanta, Inc. is a new nonprofit, the depth of the organization's skill in bonding with and relating to young girls will make them a forerunner in the nonprofit community in NO time!
