Joining Teens Tutor Teens is one of the best decisions of my life, although initially I was hesitant. The organization provided me with numerous opportunities to get my name out and improve skills I already had while also giving me new ones. The experience I gained from tutoring, managing a website, and tracking incoming and outgoing students and tutors was something I will never forget. The organization created a great network between tutors across the nation to connect for purposes within and outside of the organization. The experience Teens Tutor Teens has given me over the last 3 years has made it all worthwhile.
Teens Tutor Teens has been an amazing and fruitful experience to be a part of. Starting off as a tutor back in 2020, I have worked my way up to GA chapter president and am now part of the executive board. This organization has grown so much through the years I have been part of it, and it continues to shape itself to find new ways to give back to the community. We have had so many learning experiences through workshops, and I continue to learn new skills every day. The students that receive tutoring from TTT also have an amazing experience absolutely free of charge!
My name is Mishal Damji, and I have been working with TTT for almost 3 years. I started off as a tutor and am now the COO of the organization. I have nothing but good experiences and learning opportunities through this nonprofit. I learned how to tutor, how to manage other tutors, and how to advertise via social media.
Teens Tutor Teens is one of the best organizations I've joined since the start of my high school. While I was initially hesitant to join the organization, it's grown a long way towards serving students in the community. Being able to directly tutor students online and create a network of high school tutors across the nation is something that I couldn't have even hoped before joining this organization, which is why I'm so glad to have been a part of this for nearly 3 years.
I’m a tutor within a nonprofit organization called teens tutor teens! This organization requires no payment from clients and will work with students to help them become the best academic versions of themselves. Recently I’ve found that students who use teens tutoring teens as their tutoring service are improving greatly in their academic sense. This organization is great and such a good resource for students in need of help.
Teens Tutor Teens is an excellent non-profit. Throughout my experience, I’ve definitely been challenged, yet rewarded, as a high school student. It’s great because we gain so much experience and complete work for our communities - whether local, state, national, OR international- and learn so much while still being teenager and helping students who lack access to private tutoring.
Teens Tutor Teens is a amazing non profit. All tutors are so willing to help their students through zoom calls and worksheets. The executive board is very efficient in getting all the background essential work done. Teens tutor teens has accomplished so much from forming partnerships to helping hundreds of kids and we are excited to continue to expand. We once had a very famous guest, Jane Elliot visit us and it was an amazing experience to hear her story on a zoom call with all the TTT members! This organization continues to grow and help more and more people everyday!!
I am watching the non-profit unfold in many ways, and the professionalism and work ethic of the youth is amazing. I am glad to be a part of this organization overseeing what these youth can accomplish and the free tutoring they are providing to schools and youth across the US.
Teens Tutor Teens has been one of the best volunteer opportunities that have been able to participate in high-school and I truly feel I have been able to impact students especially with the current conditions the world is being able to still have motivation to help others has been amazing. I have been able to talk in real time with students as well as grow as a student myself. I highly recommend this program to anyone wanting to make a difference and bonus its ALL FREE
