Causes: Children & Youth, Youth Development Programs
Mission: Demonstrating environmentally sustainable agricultural practices to the public, as well as youth employment and job training programs.
Programs: To provide a learning experience for the youth of this area in an outdoor classroom using sustanable methods of land stewardship. To expose local students to a way of life that will celebrate diversity and foster self-sufficiency for living in the future; to provide educational and charitable assistance to the general public by organizing and operating a community farm and satellite gardens, which will be public information and demonstration centers for organic farming and gardening practices; to provide facilities and opportunities for all members of our community to learn and experience sustainable agriculture, to become more self-sufficient and conscious of the preservation of energy.
