The Edward Hopper House Art Center is housed in his childhood home and is designated as a National Historic Landmark. Edward Hopper visited this family home throughout his life. Some of his paintings were painted in the house, and from the shores of the Hudson River, which the home overlooks. Visitors come also come from as far away as Europe to learn more about this great American artist. The home houses a room specifically designated to Edward Hopper, his life, family and art.
