Causes: Automotive Safety, Disaster Aid
Mission: The corporation is organized to operate exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes (within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) and section 170(c)(2) of the internal revenue code of 1954), namely, to carry out the purely charitable, scientific and educational activities of the motor and equipment manufacturers association ("mema"). In particular, the purposes of the corporation are to (i) conduct, finance and promote research and studies concerning the automotive, truck and other vehicular industries and disseminate findings resulting therefrom, (ii) conduct, finance and promote seminars, conferences and other educational programs relating to the automotive, truck and other vehicular industries, (iii) produce, publish and disseminate educational material through printed, audio, visual and all other media now in existence or hereafter developed, and (iv) engage in all other charitable, educational and scientific activities permitted by law.
Programs: The foundation is a supporting organization of motor and equipment manufacturers association ("mema").
