Causes: Agricultural Programs, Food
Mission: Bridging the food insecurity gap through sustainable food production, equitable distribution, and cultivating community connections.
Results: In 2024 we: distributed 2,800 weekend food bags, (250 bags per week), to school children during the 11-week summer break; provided 58 free and discounted veggie baskets to SNAP/WIC families and families that fall below the self-sufficiency standard; helped 20 SNAP/WIC families grow their own vegetable garden at home with our free garden kits; collected over 500 pounds of gleaned produce from local farmers that we donated to local food banks and the Little Free Pantry Network' supported those most in need through the Gillette Little Free Pantries – a network of 8 upcycled newspaper dispensers placed in our city parks.
Target demographics: We’re on a mission to bridge the food insecurity gap in Campbell County, through our programs and services designed to distribute food to those who need it most. Whether it’s a summer weekend food bag for a child, a basket of fresh veggies, or the seeds and starts to grow a garden at home—together, we can make a difference.
