Mission: Safe Journey, founded in 1998, is a healing ministry that offers a customized transition program to women and their children who have experienced domestic violence. We are dedicated to helping women who are committed to establishing lives free from violence by providing support that will enable them to live in safety, grow in confidence, and experience God's unconditional love. We believe our religious underpinnings and suburban location serve a special niche in our community. We strive to educate our religious and community organizations about domestic violence, and dispel the myth that violence occurs only in urban areas.
