nurturing of strategic partnerships -- ecumenical, interfaith and denominational, and with secular agencies. Eco-justice ministries builds networks and partnerships that broadly nurture the goals of faith-based environmentalism. We have been active in a climate justice team of the national united church of christ, and a secular climate justice coalition in colorado. In 2017, we participated with the colorado coalition for a livable climate on state legislative issues; worked in close partnership with 350. Org and similar groups on climate and energy issues; and educated our constituency on a variety of environmental issues, including controversies about national monuments. These programs involved direct work with 15 agencies and 10 congregations and connected with over 500 people.
leadership training and resource development: eco-justice ministries has provided specific training and resources materials to assist religious leaders in developing environmentally relevant programs in their congregations. In 2017, we engaged in individual consulting sessions with many congregational leaders; met with seminary classes, and shared numerous resources through our website.
