Mission: To help persons with disabilities attain a higher quality of life through achievement of their vocational goals. Job training and employment services are provided to persons with disabilities in pitt county and surrounding areas.
Programs: Vocational rehabilitation combined programs includes: vocational evaluation- a 4 week program where a client's potential for employment is assessed. Work adjust- a short term program designed to prepare a client for competitive job placement. Supported employment- provides job placement for those needing intensive instruction & ongoing support.
adult developmental activities program - a long term training program for persons with more severe disabilities. Provides work experiences designed to help individuals learn basic work skills, improve/maintain productivity, and develop appropriate work habits and social skills.
cost of production - the indirect expenses incurred in selling the inventory items that are manufactured or otherwise prepared for sale with the aid of mentally and physically disabled clients.
